Ellen Dengeners, the award-winning lesbian 17-year-old show and network talk show host, who has been targeted by the social justice warries of the internet lately has a defence squad come to her rescue.
After hosting the show The Ellen DeGeneres Show and interviewing famous persons ranging from Presidents to Hollywood stars, Ellen DeGeneres has shockingly been accused of mistreatment with staff in 2020 after an inquiry.
The inquiry was prompted by a story on Buzzfeed news, in which employees made allegations of intimidation on The Ellen DeGeneres show. The accusers claimed the workplace was toxic and “dominated by fear”.
In an email to staff, Ellen apologised and said she was “committed to ensuring this does not happen again”.
“We all have to be more mindful about the way our words and actions affect others, and I’m glad the issues at our show were brought to my attention,” she added.
Production company WarnerMedia said “several staffing changes” would take place as a result of its investigation.
To her relief a string of cellebrities ranging from Diane Keaton, Ashton Kutcher, Jay Leno, Kevin Hart, Katy Perry and many more came to her defence to trend #IStandWithEllen or, alternatively, #IStandByEllen.
